This structure was the longest bridge in the world when completed in the 1860's. Served as as the prototype for the younger Brooklyn Bridge by John Roebling's son. The bridge has been well maintained over the years and retains some of its original charm dispite the larger truss added int eh 1860 and the modern lighting and railings. Great walk between Covington and the Cincinnati Riverfront. Convenient connections to either side however parking is easier on the Kentucky Side. Also provides access to Great American Ballpark or Paul Brown Stadium.
