Gypsy and Mosquito is a local café in many senses: local residents are common patrons, and more importantly the menu utilises locally sourced, endemic Australian, and even indigenous Victorian ingredients in its all-day brunch menu.Wallaby and camel sausage, desert limes, bunya nuts, Warrigal greens, and pepperbush berries to name just a few - and all blended into adaptations of such European favourites as baked beans and poached eggs on toast (the toast, of course, being locally-baked sourdough).
