My name is XXX, passport number XXX. I applied for a visa (application number: XXX) on 11st Decmber, 2013 and got rejected on 12th December, 2013 due to reason NO.8. Regarding to the rejection reason, I hope the following explanations could be helpful.
1, The purpose of this trip is purely tourism. As a student, I want to be an art reporter after graduation, so France, as the world’s center of art has always been the country I want to explore. So I paid a trip to France and Italy last august. It was a nice trip, but because time was limited, I could only visit northern France (Paris 12 days + Lyon 5 days+ Paris 2 days for return flight) and Rome, Florence, Venice in Italy (14 days in total). Thus this winter I applied to go to southern France and Spain, visiting the two Picasso museums in Antibes and Barcelona. I hope this can explain why I applied for French visa twice.
2, I am still a student at XXX University of China and I will graduate in July 2015. My faculty, School of XXXX, ranks NO.1 in China and our graduate students’ placements are quite good. So for sure, I will go back to China and continue my studies. Besides, I will start my internship at Bloomberg Businessweek Lifestyle department from June 2014. So this winter will be the last holiday I have and I truly want to spend it in France and Spain, enjoying the warm weather there and benefit my future job.
3, I have a loving family and a stable relationship in China. On 12th December 2013, I got a phone call from the embassy and the lady asked me whether I had a boyfriend in France or any relatives in Europe. I promise that this should not be your concern as I have no connections in Europe. My parents are both in China and we have really close relationship (Photo attached). Besides, I have been with my boyfriend for more than three years (photo attached). Actually we are planning to discuss wedding issue with our families during the Spring Festival. He is a Chinese person and will finish his study in Australia in July 2014.
4, Regarding my unreasonable travel schedule you mentioned in rejection letter, I have to admit that it is not detailed enough as I did not have enough time when I applied. So I add many details, concerning sightseeing places, reasons that I want to go to this place and transportation. I hope this would help to show that why it is necessary for me to visit these two countries.
During last application on 12th December, my mentor was very supportive and approved my leave on January, my English professor even agreed to postpone my final test, as they have long known my interest in art report, which unfortunately, I failed to fully explain in the application. However, with all the additional information, it would be really nice if I can be given a chance to be reconsidered. If you have any concern about anything, please contact me.
