The requirements for a tourist visa are:
- valid passport, three photos. As your passport is issued by Chinese authorities, it will be sent to the Embassy of China for verification. It would help if you send copies of the front page and that of the Kenyan visa in advance.

> - ticket (round trip) and accommodation

> - Bank Statements, for an account to your name, certified
> by the bank,verifiable, showing that you have enough funds to finance
> the tickets,accommodation and an extra of 50 us dollars per day of
> stay. No sponsorship is allowed.
> - Visa fee is 30 dollars, payable at our offices or the
> Commercial Bank of Nairobi. No check or transfers accepted.
> Application form and receipt of payment are issued when all
> the requirements are met.

You have too short time! I think totally 6-8 weeks are suitable for Argentine and Chilean pantagonia. Forget about the northwest, you dont hv time!
