原来的5天过境免签是在波兰等国去年年底正式加入申根协定之前 给予持有申根签证的外国公民的便利,随着加入申根区,也就自然失效了。

不知道怎么会得出这么一个奇怪的结论。既然上面说到的9个国家加入了申根,就是普通的申根国家。只要持有有效的申根签证就可以去,没有5天不5天,过境不过境的限制。否则加不加入申根没有区别了。
另外,这些国家去年12月21日是开始实施申根协定,不是“加入欧盟”。欧盟是几年前就已经加入了的。

我1月的时候去斯洛伐克的布拉提斯拉发,入境的时候被海关告知,虽然斯洛伐克已经加入申根国,但是根据条例,只有07年12月20日以后生效的申根签证才能享受此待遇,之前生效的申根签证依旧需要按照之前的“5天,过境”的规定办理,害我不得不去维也纳喝了杯咖啡才得以“过境”。
不知道这个规定是不是对其它国家也适用?
