You can take the bus from Ljubljana to Zagreb every day at 1 a.m., 5 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. The journey takes up to 3 hours, and you can only take the morning buses. But you can also get here by train. The trains depart from Ljubljana at 6.20 a.m., 8.15 a.m., 2.45 p.m., 4.35 p.m., 6.35 p.m. and 9.15 p.m. The journey by train takes less than 3 hours. The bus station in Ljubljana is next to the train station.
The bus at 1 a.m. is run by TOURING EUROLINES, at 5 a.m. ČAZMATRANS-NOVA d.o.o. and at 7 a.m. AUTOTRANS d.o.o. I will send you a link where I found that information. Just type in the first field Ljubljana and in the next Zagreb and select the date that you need.
