However, checks conducted by this office found you have demonstrated limited knowledge of your intended travel itinerary and place of destination. Whilst it is understandable in certain situations that another individual may assist with travel arrangements, the onus is on the applicant to demonstrate that their intended visit is genuine.
As the information provided in your application is inconsistent with information obtained during the course of the assessment, I have weighed up all the information available to me and on balance I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend to stay temporarily in Australia for the purpose for which the visa would be granted.
