Jetstar's services to/from Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Melbourne, Sydney

Christchurch Airport has reopened and operations have recommenced.

Due to high call volumes currently being experienced by our Jetstar Customer Care team, we recommend that only passengers traveling within the next 24 hours contact our call centre via phone if required. For all other customers, regular updates will be posted on this website.


Christchurch Airport is now closed until at least 3pm (Local NZ Time) (1pm Australian Eastern Standard Time).

Due to this morning's earthquake near Christchurch, Christchurch Airport is closed until at least 1pm (Local NZ Time) (11am Australian Eastern Standard Time). Both arriving and departing domestic and international flights are currently suspended.


As a result, Jetstar has canceled the following flights this morning:


JQ244 Christchurch-Auckland

JQ245 Auckland-Christchurch

JQ247 Auckland-Christchurch

JQ156 Christchurch-Melbourne

JQ159 Melbourne-Christchurch

JQ140 Christchurch-Sydney

JQ277 Christchurch-Queenstown



Jetstar apologises for any inconvenience and is contacting passengers in regards to alternative arrangements.


The Airport is closed, and Christchurch Airport is requesting that passengers do not travel to the Airport until further notice.


Jetstar will keep passengers informed in regards to impacts on any other services and will continue to update Jetstar.com.

Initial inspections showed the region's highways appeared to have held up well, but it could be several weeks before the full extent of any damage was known, NZTA spokesman Peter Connors said.


State Highway 77 between Methven and Windwhistle is the only state highway currently closed due to earthquake damage.

ME 2.昨天发EMAIL询问那里的状况,今天收到回信说APPARTMENT有破坏,建议我们转到HOUSE.但是飞了十几个小时,第一天我想选一个带卫生间的房间.所以准备重新找了.

9/18～10/4 充满期待的新西兰南岛自驾游。

1.机票已出（今天致电新航 被告知9/13日之前的机票更改不收取手续费）

2.CHRISTCHURCH 旅馆已定（回复MAIL 被告知没有受到影响）

同问啊～～～23号的票已经买好了,签证也已经拿到了,且计划都安排在南岛~~~~~哎.


幸亏只在CHC住一晚,好纠结啊.马上要十一了,也好不容易请了16天假期.希望一切顺利啊


不行明天我再申请一个欧洲申根签证,万一万一,就再跑到欧洲吧.

目前还在纠结么？看来机票也没出，继续纠结去的可能性也不大了。早点做决定

虽然基督城地震，但是目前来看没什么问题，City有建筑受损，来的话可能市中心观光有影响，南岛最大优势是自然风光，几个主要景区几乎没影响，包括高速道路。

基督城也不用呆3天，就算没有地震，我感觉1天也够了。

问题不大，道路桥梁几乎没有影响，城市中心区的几座老砖房受损。地下管线部分有问题，正在检查。通讯、供水、供电、机场、其它物流正常。

地震只造成2人重伤，倒是观光飞机失事死亡九人（还没说原因）。

真的是杯具啊。。


我们的行程是11 sept 早上到基督城 （从新加坡）。 我刚收到 YHA (靠近art center)的回复， 说是没问题，有水有电， YHA 的建筑结构也没受影响。 让我下个礼拜再email 询问。 担心中 。。。

25号去，不能退机票，NAKED BUS。很郁闷

HOTEL SO还没有答复。。。估计不太行了。

不去的话，损失也惨。。。

郁闷啊

完全没啥问题。。。就塌了几栋就楼。。媒体小题大做。。。。


兄弟姐妹们 放心的来吧！！一切没两天就恢复正常了

放心吧，没有你们想的这么严重，若最近定的 市中心的酒店可能有影响，其他的就没什么影响了。

·其实还好啦~~大家真的不用担心~~~~~~~虽然现在不时房子还晃一下~~~但是完全没有受灾的感觉~~~

我现在怕的是冰川徒步，怕地震造成山体松动。。。。
