96-hour Visa Free Transit Facilities (VFTF) for PRC and Indian nationals
PRC and Indian nationals who are in transit to or from any third country by air will be eligible for the 96-hour visa free transit facility (VFTF) if they are in possession of a valid onward air ticket departing within the next 96-hours and satisfy the following criteria:
Possess a valid visa/long term pass (validity of at least 1 month) issued by any of the following countries**:
a.Australia
b.Canada
c.Japan
d.New Zealand
e.United Kingdom
f.United States of America
g.Germany
h.Switzerland
Please do note that the VFTF only applies one way throughout the entire itinerary.
Single Journey Visas (SJV) issued by the above countries can also be utilised to qualify for VFTF, when transiting through Singapore on the return leg of the same journey. However the following conditions need to be met:
(a) the traveller travels directly from the country that issued the SJV, onroute through Singapore, directly back to the home country; and
(b) the traveller has not returned to one's home country since the SJV was last utilised
All transit passengers who satisfy the above criteria are not guaranteed entry but are still subjected to Singapore's prevailing entry requirements. Extension of stay for transit passengers under this VFTF scheme is strictly not allowed.
** A visa is considered valid if it is not expired and is good for entry into the third country.
96-hour Visa Free Transit Facilities (VFTF) for Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS*) nationals
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS*) nationals who are in transit to or from any third country will be eligible for the 96-hour visa free transit facility (VFTF) if they are in possession of a valid onward air ticket departing within the next 96-hours.
All transit passengers who satisfy the above criteria are not guaranteed entry but are still subjected to Singapore's prevailing entry requirements.
Transit passengers who satisfy all the above requirements and allowed entry will be granted a stay of up to 96-hours (4 days) in Singapore. Extension of stay for transit passengers under this VFTF scheme is strictly not allowed.

说一下我的亲身经历,持有英国5年工作签证,
今年7月从香港飞新加坡转机去柬埔寨,回程申请VFTF,1分钟搞定。
今年9月从香港飞新加坡转机去印尼,去程申请VFTF,1分钟搞定。
个人还没有试过来去都申请,所以不能确定行不行,我认为它比较难查,但我暂时没有这个需要。
注意:入境处的人员都会事先声明,这个VFTF是case by case,不是说一定给的。然后才看我的护照机票等文件。

我现在也是这个情况,有日本的长期多次签证,上海-新加坡(停留2晚)-吉隆坡(停留3晚)-上海的路线,
自己看看文件么觉得应该可以新加坡用96小时VFTF,马来西亚用5天过境pass。
可是在签证版问了下又是各种不同说法。
有说必须是从日本来或者去日本。还有说新加坡-吉隆坡那一段可能会被拒绝登机。
我决定信实际走过的人了!新加坡的签证不去办了。
还有我想问下,johnson21c你在新加坡转机的时候有柬埔寨和印尼的签证么?
像我想直接去吉隆坡过境签的话,登机会遇到麻烦么?
这个我已经看过多遍,按照字面的意思,是需要持有第三国机票(这个第三国到底是指什么,没有明确界定),而且符合以下条件:持有有效相关发达国家签证。

老驴友说的没错,你可以从新加坡转机去哪都行,只要有这些国家签证, 但是
1 你最好别坐廉航
2 如果不是去上述国家,或从上述国家回来,请做好扯皮准备,这事我和新加坡海关扯过几次皮,他们自己也承认这规定写的不明确,本意是给从这些国家用的,但是由于不明确,也就算了。
过境去东南亚国家就不行

印尼万隆 - 新加坡 - 澳大利亚达尔文,往返,两次分别办理 VFTF
关于签证国与出发国一致的要求,只针对一次入境的签证的返程,比如澳洲一次入境签证,那么在返回时需要VFTF,必须是从澳洲出发、经新加坡返回中国。
我亲身经历年1月6日北京-新加坡-悉尼新加坡航空往返商务仓,1月15日悉尼-新加坡入境住2天时,我们亲自询问新加坡大使馆(朋友在新加坡咨询),得到确实答案;去北京-新加坡免签证96小时.返回悉尼-新加坡入境必须有新加坡免签证,不能免签证
我们提前在新加坡大使馆申请了电子团签, (我在入新加坡时询问了入境官员证实了).. ”

目的地可以不必是澳洲,但前提是:
1,你持有有效期超过1个月的多次澳大利亚签证;
2,你持有过境新加坡前往第三国的机票;
3,机场给与一次性的最多96小时的过境签证,一次性意思为:中国-新加坡-泰国-新加坡-中国,那回程的时候你只能直接过境。
我2010年8月持1年多次澳洲签证去澳洲旅游,2次在樟宜机场获得VFTF,每次96小时。
1. 澳门-新加坡-澳大利亚(全部Jetstar)
2. 澳大利亚-新加坡-吉隆坡-中国(澳洲-新加坡为Jetstar,新加坡-吉隆坡为亚航)
在新加坡入境处的时候,直接递下程机票,就给盖章入境了。吉隆坡也给了120小时的Transit Pass。
