小孩不要去,材料你自己带去就可以了。上海签证处给我的回邮正文如下:If you are traveling with a child 13 years old or younger, you may apply for your child’s visa either through the Drop-box or in-person during your own visa interview. We prefer that you bring your child’s application with you to your interview as the visa officer can then ascertain your child’s exact purpose of travel, and that your child will be traveling with an adult. Your child will still need to pay the visa application fee and complete a DS-160 application form. Your child does not need to book an appointment through the call center, so long as your child is applying together with an adult who has already booked a visa appointment. When you come to the consulate on the day of your interview, notify the registration desk that you also have an application for a minor child. Your child’s visa application will then be adjudicated during your visa interview.
Children 13 and younger are not required to come in person to the consulate if they are applying together with an adult. Because our consular section waiting room is crowded and there may be lengthy wait, we suggest that if possible minor children not be brought to the visa interview.
