The Snowdon Inn – Y Friscan is made up of several accommodation blocks, all in peaceful tree-filled surroundings. Guests get a bed in a shared dormitory room, which has shared bathroom facilities.
There are shared microwave/kettle facilities for the use of guests. There are local cafes and pubs within a 10-minute walk of the property. The River Seiont passes close by, where fishing and wild-swimming are permitted.
Snowdonia National Park is located just a few miles from the hostel. Bangor and the island of Anglesey are within a 25-minute drive. Guests who wake up early may be rewarded with seeing otters fishing on the river.
