我是在
瑞典交换留学的学生，居留
签证到明年1月31号就截止了。我想在元旦之前去
英国旅游（旅行期间不超过10天），不知道有没有资格申请旅行
签证呢？
有些朋友跟我说，我必须满足还剩3个月以上的
申根国
签证才可以申请，但是我查看了UK Boarder Agency的网页，上面并没注明要剩下多久，只是If you currently have temporary permission to stay in Sweden (for example, as a student or a visitor), you can only apply for some types of UK visa - see 'More information' below.
另外我还发了一封邮件给他们，他们没有直接回答，就是要我看他们的网站，但是中间有一段是
You may
submit an application for a visit visa in any country. Applications for any
other entry clearance categories, however, should be submitted in your country
of nationality or your country of normal residence. Please note: in general terms "country
or territory where the applicant is living" refers to the place where a person
is present in any capacity other than as a short term visitor and has permission

否则的话，退一步海阔天空，申根国这么多国家，外加几个非申根国（如克罗地亚），元旦时的选择也足够多了。
英国ukba经常自摆乌龙，自己对自己的条文都不清楚。楼主如果真的想来，那不妨装傻试一下。大不了他们说不行，不会对你瑞典签证有影响。
