沿着East End Road一直开到尽头,再下一个很陡的土坡,再沿着海岸线走半个小时,在Kachemak Bay卡彻马克湾的尽头,有一个遗世独立的小村庄,虽然在美国,这里的人呢说着俄语,路牌还是俄文,这应该是阿拉斯加这片土地曾经属于俄国沙皇的证据。如今的小村子十分安静,海湾飘满浮冰,可以在上面跳跃,没人打扰,尽情玩耍。
History has it that this was built by a man that immigrated from Russia I believe. He took old chunks of cement and fashioned wonderful homes from them in a whimsical, rustic nature. It is on a narrow part of Mills Avenue and you might be able to park before or after them and walk to see the outside of these private homes. You drive through them but might get out of the car to view them better!
